WWOOF Ireland is a voluntary, educational exchange based on trust.  By becoming members, volunteers from all over the world can arrange placements with host farms in Ireland to learn about organic growing and sustainable lifestyles.

Here at Moyleabbey, we have been WWOOF hosts since 2008, and since then we have welcomed over 200 volunteers (wwoofers) to our farm from all over the world.

We provide accommodation, food and education in organic farming and living. In return, Wwoofers help us working on the farm, as a hands-on way of learning and experiencing life as a farmer.  We like to enjoy good quality food together and very much enjoy the social side of eating together and sharing different cultural experiences.

WWOOFing is a wonderful way to contribute to the health of the planet.  The work is wide and varied and it’s a great way to learn about life and culture in different countries, make friends with others in the organic movement, and learn about a healthier lifestyle.

Many countries around the world have a WWOOF scheme.  Find out more at wwoof.net
